16mm NGM??

OK, odd question time...

Just "joined" and paid for a family membership on the 16mm NGM site. It took me to Paypal and happily deducted £18 from my paypal account. However, it has not asked me for my deatils, my partners details or the childs details at any point, I admit, paypal will hold certain details about me, but it knows nothing of my partner etc?? Are these details not required? if not why not as no one would know they are even members??

Dear Totally Confused,

The Membership Secretary will no doubt get in touch when he processes the information which comes from the Web Site / Paypal - then the details for the other members will get added.

Hello Steve,
been there done that , actually just a couple of weeks ago. You are not the first to wonder 'what next' ? In the last month or so i have seen 3 of such cases making posts and asking if any one could explain things to them.
As said above , the secretary will eventually get back to you but an association of their size and membership base should be able to get updated with the times and arrange an instant automated welcome email or information pamphlet.

Funny enough, I still don't know if I have a membership number of my own or if I'm attached to TommyDodd's number, and he switched his membership to a family one two years ago!
