Sugar Cane Wagons
For some time I have had an interest in Sugar Cane railways in places such as Java and Australia, and would like some rolling stock such as the wagons used to transport the cane from the fields to the mills.
Are there any kits about that I can be directed too?
All the best

i dont think theres any company that does them. P&J used to do a form of suegr cane wagon, it didnt look like the typical style cane wagons.
there are some for sale on ebay, but at an arm and a leg!

Some java cane wagons are made up of bits of rail. bent to shape.
If you were willing to make your own, you could turn a couple bits of peco into one!

If you can make a sketch of how you would like the frames I'm sure I could make something on the laser. If you don't mind MDF I can sell my flatbed wagons for £5 each. I can make them from ply as well but they would cost a bit more then - probably another quid. You would have to source your own wheels if you don't want to use the laser cut ones I supply.

I'll have to go through some of my books to get a good idea of what I want before I make a sketch.
Is there any chance of seeing some photos of your flatbed wagons?
Many Thanks
