well its that time of year again where I think about MOTY...
Instead of a mad dash I have decided to string out the manufacture over a few months.
A card prototype has been made but what the hell are they?

I know!
However, an iron clad contract between the Afonglas and Nant Llywyd Railway and the Deben Valley Light Railway means that I am sworn to secrecy and I'm not spilling the beans!!! Should be in the running for prizes again though!

I also know, but I'm also sworn to secrecy! However I WILL say that they'll look very much at home on the Pigsty Brewery Tramway (if they'll fit)..............

you say that but i wonder how long it is before we get technology that allows us to do things like this!
we've already seen zachs minute air pump to allow him to create his air piped braking system!

I've started thinking about MOTY too, just need to source some drawings for it, which my grandad might have found today. I then need to find where I can get transfers from because if I can't get them there will be no point in building it. Have no idea what yours is, you told me one of your ideas but it seems that you have changed your mind, looks excellent though as always.

OK so the first test prototype was made yesterday which I glued togethor over nigh. Imediate concern is that it is too wide! The paper one looked fine but that didn't have the wood widths added. I think that 116mm is a tad too large, remember these, like the MOTY carriage, are designed to look unique and distinct. The are very low as well which was intended. A few other problems noted but these are easily solved. Do you think thats a bit wide? Reply quick as I've got a slot on the LASERE cutter to produce the rest today!
I suppose my B and W carriage is about that width over the duckets...

Right, steadily building the three of them up now. Here's the first. The strapping/planked look has really come out well. I will be adding Cambrian rivets to all the little circles.

Any more guesses?

Could it be a lorry load that goes onto a flat bed. A bit like the old 00 gauge Airfix Lowmacs that were made in the seventies

Im with Andysliegh and MHLR on this one, some sort of Articulated Cattle/Livestock Wagon that uses the same principle as Eurostar Rolling Stock and having 2 coaches sharing one bogie either end
