This was taken the day I finished it.It lasted just 2 days before getting the hoof of Mother on in as it sat on the raised bench I have (which she used as a step)
It didnt bother me that much... I just rebuilt it again, gave it another coat of paint and all was well... except... sometimes the motor stopped meshing with the gears, and it played up occasionally. So I got a new motor and matching gears, and re0wired it all. Still it would randomly de-mesh.
Then recently I replaced the two rather bent screws that held the motor in.... and it ran perfectly forwards round my new oval of faller track one way... the other way it was rather noisy. Then it suddenly stopped, and there was a horrid noise. It had stripped all the gear teeth of one side of the intermediate gear. WHich I can't take out.
So its now dead again.
