HNGR Bug Box

Post by Hancockshire » Wed Feb 24, 2010 7:06 pm

This is my bug box. It rolls on Meldrew's old wheels(so it waddles like hell). It is made from the print-off coaches that Narrow Minded shown me. Please appreciate my efforts since this is my first successful scratch building attempt & I am quite proud of it

Yeah. You can even edit it on paint so you can get your own livery.

Awesome hancockshire, that is damn good for a computer made bug box! What have you put the paper onto? Card? Are you going to give it copious amounts of varnish to protect it all?

Nice work - building in card isn't easy and many people can't be ar$ed to put in the effort required, so well done to you!

Looks really good. I've been wanting to try those print off coaches for ages but was worried about how it would turn out. Might just give them a go now :D

Well at least if you DO make a botch of it, you can print off another one and start again!

It was printed off, then mounted on pressure activated mounting board(from work)& when I got it home I varnished it

I had a look at this, though about building it, then decided that I don't have the time at the moment :D Maybe during the summer!

Could probably make a proper 16mm live steam one in the time it takes to make the paper one :sign5: !
