IP Engineering, generous much?!

Post by pauly » Fri Jan 22, 2010 2:02 pm

I do a lot of business with IP and the guy who runs it is such a nice chap. he and me mum usually have a little chat whenever I make an order and last time I ordered something (last week) he mentioned that he had a couple of unsellable kits in his workshop that he was sick of tripping over and that next time I made an order he would send these couple of bits to me, well thats very generous I thought and made a note to order a railcar kit in a couple of weeks. that was just a week ago and I havent ordered anything else since.

this morning I came down the stairs to be greeted with a large package stuffed to the brim with parts, broken up kits and 1 or 2 complete kits!
all sent free of charge!

this 1s sealed and appears complete

now remember I didnt order any of this and didnt pay or even know he had sent it, thats what kind of business IP is! an excellent 1!

He is great, whenever I have had slight problems with any of his kits (sometimes my fault as well) he has been straight onto it with free parts! he is brilliant. infact i need to ring him up now as i need a set of wheels he has forgot to post me.

That little lot should keep you busy for a while  !

This is the sort of thing that I always hear about but never experience, but it's still got the "Feel Good Factor" :D

Nice one!

Perfect thing to experiment on then, you could get a cheap model car off eBay and hack it off that.

That'll keep you quiet for a good while and give you a chance to do some kit-bashing!

Talking of hacking about... why not bodge the Fowler tractor to the Penrhyn Directors Coach  Now that would be different!

correction Iv just found the front half of the track inspection vehicle so Ill be trying that 1, the only piece that appears to be missing is the seat so Iv taken 1 from the remains of the Lister kit.

these parts are all staying in the box though until I can move into my new workshop.
