Time for a Roundhouse Loco.
[media][media]I own a few Livesteam Locos presently,45MM G Guage 11x4 Oval indoor LGB Track. From all the Roundhouse Locos i like the Lilla the best,But might settle for a Billy Or Katy,The thing is in the USA there Pre order only with a 7 month waitlist and from what i heaerd from a local distributor it could enev take much longer than that.I am considering paying shipping from UK,Is there a better way to get it any sooner from UK dealers,I would want it Prebuilt with RC,Only New no used Models,Any infor on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
Best to you.
Robert.

I suggest discussing directly with Roundhouse. They batch build so there often a waiting list. For example I asked about a new Fowler at the recent 16mm meeting in April. Roundhouse won’t be building them again until early next year.

The Roundhouse production schedule is published on the website https://www.roundhouse-eng.com then click on Order Now > Our Production Schedule. That shows which month the next batches for each model will be built and if there is any availability in that batch to order directly from Roundhouse.
Alternatively it is a case of trawling the various dealers for what they have in stock.
Having acquired a Katie this year (I ordered it last year) I would say the models are worth the wait!

Re: Time for a Roundhouse Loco.
I sure am happy. I own a few Live Steam locos, including Accucraft.Honestly, between the 2 there is no comparison. When I fire it up at about 18 psi, she just goes barely a few drips of water. My 1/20 Accucraft Forney loses about 4 Oz till the cylinders heat up. I seriously hope that i don’t get a great attachment to Roundhouse if you know what I mean.
