Just wanted to share with you another kit I've managed to more or less complete recently - the kiosk from Pendle Valley Workshop.

Conscious the boys and girls at the Wood Yard hadn't got any facilities apart from bringing their own butties so the local caterer Rachel has invested in a kiosk and sent along one of her start members of staff Reenie to run it.

(Disclaimer - whilst my nearest and dearest is called Rachel and kiosk is named after her, she took exception to the cha lady bearing no resemblance to her - hence the above back story! (I don't know, some people can get too touchy!)

The Kiosk kit and Reenie came from Pendle Valley with the teapot and cups from Trenarren Models - lots more detail can go in there - I'll be on the scout at the National show for other things like cakes, team urns etc or I may do a bit of scratch building/clay modelling based on the excellence I see from others on here

One must keep the railway staff happy, did you do the writing on the boards either side? very typical font.
Plenty of scope for detailing.

Yes - I did consider printing them but thought in most cases they'd be handwritten - the old fine point paint pen came to the rescue

They used to do classes in ticket writing, you've certainly nailed the style. Congrats.

Hi Andy, I hope Tom will be lenient with us this time, but just to reply to your question I will say that it is very much a case of forced perspective as the idea was to make a competition entry of any subject within a standard box-file so the available depth is minimal.....

Decades ago in greasy spoons, you might sometimes find they'd also have large yellow and brown squeezy tomatoes, for mustard and brown sauce. Surreal. You'll have to make the set.

I still come across the coloured squeezy bottles snow and again. I must eat in some classy places! One of my haunts has four different colours, red - tomato sauce, brown - brown sauce, yellow - salad cream (I see they want to rename it!) and white - mayonnaise.

They just need the congealed runs of cheap ketchup adding and they would be ideal.
