DCC vs MTS - Is there a difference?
Hi
Ive been trying to figure this out for a while but at the basic level does anyone know of any major differences / incompatibilities between LGB's MTS system and the DCC standard used by Digitrax. Ive moved from N Gauge to G Scale and was assuming it was just a case of MTS decoders would work under DCC but i seem to be having some issues.
The current plan is to just ignore MTS all together, buy DC locos and fit a large scale DCC decoder (there is after all a lot more room inside the loco than there is with N Gauge!)

One loco in question came from this starter set:
"LGB #55100 MTS/DCC Starter Set with Schoema Diesel"
The MTS chip has been thrown away when it was replaced with a Uhlenbrook DCC chip.
One has a "LGB 55021 MTS Locomotive Decoder ||" (so im assuming that is MTS version 2"
