Many thanks. In the excitement this morning to do things before leaving for work, I forgot to turn on the lights. The houses aren´t all wired up yet, but the street lighting should work. I´ll have to see what effect that has in the photos.

The adjustable lighting is pretty neat, you wouldn't know it was indoors

Adjustable in the sense of "on / off". Otherwise it´s just the daylight coming through the small windows in the cellar :lol:

I´ve just finished the first run of my Accucraft NG16 after a major refit and having ripped out the R/C. Took a long time to raise steam, but once she began to move it was with a little hesitation and then increasing grace. Very slow and majestic. In fact so much so, that I forgot to take any pics, as I was so wrapped up watching. Watch this space ....

She's a beauty but with all that plumbing I would hesitate to use it outside with the potential of derailing and scraping along stonework!

Don´t let Mrs K&NWLR know, but I´ve just got an ELR coal-fired NG16, as yet unsteamed. It´s interesting to see how less detailed it is (and I don´t mean that in a bad way) and how more focused on outdoor work. Unfortunately, my local Gauge 1 club outdoor track is undergoing a rebuild, so it will be summer before I can try out my non-existent skills in the black arts of coal-fired live steam.

What a lovely beastie! Despite my line's WHR influence I don't think I could squeeze one of those round it, so it's very impressive that you manage indoors - have you got enough of a run (and enough stock) to make it work hard?

Glad to see the local's serving Kentish ale...

The upper circuit is around 35m long in a cellar room some 6m x 14m. Just at the moment, the NG16 is being run in, but afterwards it will get a passenger train of up to 6 bogie coaches from Perfect World kits. But for the moment, it´s easy does it.

All second hand (and in need of repairs in one case) acquired over the last couple of years as in need of a new home. The K&NWLR always tries its best to help.
