Black Beauty, Simon's Mamod has finally gained some nameplates, he's only owned the thing for the last 10 years....(makes the nameplateless streak of my locos look quite rubbish....)
Another railway ticked off for the Russell, the PTLR was the first line visited for both Owain and Urien. Russell is having an extended stay whilst a handrail is fitted to the smokebox
FRthunderbolt couldn't be there today, but he was there in spirit as his Atlantic steamed round (and yes I know its called Argyll but it is one of the later edition models)

At this point it was decided to have a bit of a loco line up. This started as quite small, but it grew. And grew.....and grew.....
...and grew until we ended up with this spectacle!!! There are 55 steam locos in shot (not all of them steamable) including a world first. In this photo are the ENTIRE PTLR steam fleet!
