LOCOLINES is back!!!

Hello there...
Roy here.
After a break of around 2 years, I'm pleased to be able to say that Locolines is back - well, almost.
(Those of you watching Ebay will know I never really went 'completely' away.)
Virtually all of the kits I had on the old website are now available again and many of the old transfer sets INCLUDING the Mamod, Bowman and other various 'ancient' goodies are available.
I'm looking into a much simpler website than the old one (it became a cumbersome behemoth for a 'part-time' business in the past) so I'll keep you posted on that one.
In the meantime, If there's anything you're after - if you can remember the kit and transfer range, including 'custom' railway crests, - let me know either on this forum or better still, via:

I'll do my best to help.
ALSO..... Keep an eye on Ebay - 16mm garden railways, Locolines.

Welcome back, the number of times Locolines has been mentioned in various places since it downsized to just occasional ebay sales suggested the business was much missed

Correct me if I am wrong, but if I remember from a few years ago, you had a line of transfers for locomotives? What did you have in the Mamod range?

The internet archive did not save many of your site's photos from 2006-2008 unfortunately.

Just a thought after Dougs comment - just for any other "Newbies",here's some of Roys excellent kits that I've had a crack at for the W&LR;

For anyone else working to a tight budget, they're excellent!

Do they come with Chassis's? Temped by that Hunslet!

No,they don't come with a chassis, but any of the small ones can be jiggled to fit. I.E.,Andel, I.P. or Cambrian. On mine, I cut 2 pieces of plasticard and used Binnie wheels. A small motor and a couple of AA batteries, sorted. They are made from heavy,pre-coloured card with very good instructions. A coat of varnish will protect it or you can paint it in your own livery. Have fun. I'll admit that the Hunslet would be good.

Actually, the Comeng originally came supplied complete with chassis, motor, gearbox & wheels as part of the kit.

My loco is based on one of the larger Locolines kits and is built over a Scientific Toys battery loco chassis. It works very well despite its toy shop origins

Getting the Scientific Toys motorblock to fit does require some modifications though.......

Hopefully a new website will be up and running before Xmas.
