I didn't know Didcot had one, it must be quite a recent addition?

Didcots was built in the last few years I think.

Its LGB track, electric powered and built around the top of the air-raid shelter they have constructed (next to the Science, Learning and Railways section and second hand book van).
The time of my visit they were running a GRS Prince kit using an otto chassis.

Stretching the definitions to the limit:

WHR(P) have a G-scale shelf layout orbiting above the shelves in their (highly recommended) Porthmadog bookshop.

Also riding high above the second-hand books is a line in "Barter Books" in Alnwick- the railway connection being that the bookshop is in the old Alnwick station, partly in the buildings proper and partly in the trainshed on the old Platform One. While there isn't any preserved action there yet, there may be one day as the Aln Valley Railway scheme struggles into life.

Excellent thread Bungle - I hope one of the mods is going to move it into the "Reference" section for keeps once the list has been finalised :D

Excellent thread Bungle
I was trying to work out exactly who had bungled the thread taking bungle to be a verb rather than noun...

I seem to remember that the Fairbourne Railway in Wales had a large G scale layout indoors, not sure if it's still there as it is a few years since i visited there, cheers, Rob
