Haha fantastic! Always wondered why Dan named it the DLR... now I know... the Damp Light Railway!

We can't all have nice weather Pete. I've finally got the camera to talk to the internet so here are my pictures from the event.

The first trains out were resident locos Robin and the new diesel

It wasn't long be fore the first visitor showed up with a one of the new Roundhouse Jacks just as the rain began

Dave also brought his Wickam railcar which did a few circuits before the Jack was sent out again

I ran Bertie who ran for 30mins in complete silence, no picture sadly. Mark brought his Regner Willi which ran light engine

To finish the afternoon Brian ran his Bertie with quite a long train

Sometimes the rain, as miserable as it is, does provide superb atmosphere for steam engines. Lovely pics of what still looks like a good day's running.

Seconded :D
I'm gutted that I was away working, your only a quick flick up the M1 from me!

(And I could have worn my "Derby County" waterproof jacket - that would have upset Brian  )
