Ip enginering!

Hello, I recived my ip engineering loco yesterday, and after studieing it, i have realised that the weels were mising from my loco, and the other set of wheels i orderd were not there. Very disapointed, and i wont be buying from there again, Any theories?

Ip engineering has a good reputation. First thing to do is contact them and find out what has happened.

Just contact them, i have used them in the past and the service is always good . They are human and we all make mistakes , but they always put it right . I would recomend them

I don't have a lot of dealings with IP, but have always received everything OK and in reasonable time.
Whenever I've had to contact them about anything I've always found that a telephone call works better than an Email

Just ring him up, explain and he will send you some.

I would agree with the above, give him a ring. I was missing a window frame for the curly roofed van when I built that, rang him up and described it (there were two types) and he sent not just one but a few of both kinds.

Callum, dont put him down afte rone go, he's a great guy, one of the best in the buisness, and as said, we all make mistakes! He'll send them if you ring! Never be so negative

I once had a kit turn up with no axleboxes. Dropped him an email and they were with me within two days.

I've made several locos from IP Engineering, and two of the kits were missing minor parts. Suffice to say after a phone call the parts were in the post the next day, usually with a spare.

A few years back I built a wagon with IP wheels and axleboxes. It unfortunately suffered a nasty fall, which resulted in an axlebox falling off and its bearing vanishing into the undergrowth. I wrote a letter to Ivan and he supplied a complete set of four new bearings free of charge
