Fyansford No.11 Project

Post by Chlcken_Salt » Mon Sep 29, 2025 5:52 am

This project started as a little rough drawing of what the Perry if it was back in service back at the BPR.

But a new batch of filament came and it gave me a new light for a project, so I started to give the existing model I had some touch-ups.

Always good to see a nice model of an Australian prototype.

Might I ask where you got the copy of the Perry GA drawing that I can see peeking out from under the mockup drawing?

Building a model of one of the Hume Weir Perry locos is on my bucket list, but I've never found a decent drawing of one, or enough critical dimensions to do a drawing from photos. Drawings of the later cane tram loco designs were published years ago in Light Railways, but not the earlier SR&WSC locos used on the Hume and Silvan projects.

Regards,
Graeme
