Made from a fence post cut on a slant for the roof, with metal from tin cans stuck to it. Door is made from some old plastic membership cards (credit card sized). Bit of paint, and then I added a few signs and some graffiti.

Thanks for the nice comments.

If anyone else gives it a go watch out for the tin. I used several different tins, some cut ok, but others left very very sharp edges. I binned those ones as they slice your fingers very quickly!

I'm rather enjoying making things for little or no money. The hut from lineside delights is the only thing I have bought so far and I am very happy with it so I will be adding a cottage or two at some point. I still need to get the bits I have made into place around the track though before I do anything else.

Having a spot of bother with the track at the moment, so think I will have to put my attention back to that.

How did you corrogate the tin cans? I would like to do this with my new engine shed roof. Also a tin hut sounds a good idea too...

They were already corrugated. From memory they were from tinned pineapple.

It is getting a bit old now and is looking very rusty, but I still like it.

Let's have an up to date piccy then- I bet it looks fantastic now!

On the subject of corrugating cans, it can certainly be done- but I can't for the life of me remember how! Beer cans were used when I saw it done, as opposed to the pre- corrugated tin cans Chris has used here.
