Looks good, James. Glad it went together well - I've still not got beyond the chassis stage with my plate frame Simplex.

You have done a good job on the IP kit. The prototype is bright yellow but I think the green looks great on it.
I built a model of it years ago from another kit, I think it was an IMP or Salford Models one and it was a swine to build.

I've been told the prototype was originally green and it was the Leighton buzzard that painted it yellow but I may have been told wrong. Thank you for your kind comments. It's a damn good loco which does get a bit of a hammering on my line.

Well worth the time and money and highly recommended

This is my caravan which I bought second hand, ready built and working. Unfortunately it looked as though the builder painted it using a toilet brush so it had to be stripped to bare metal, partially rebuilt and re-painted. I also added a centre off, forward/reverse switch, which was a tight fit in such a cramped space.
It is a great little workhorse and keeps on going.

I can't recall the original colour but I'm sure it was neither green or yellow. I like it brown, just to be different!

Beautifully finished, Peter. I hope my plate frame Simplex looks half as good as this close-up when it's finished.

Looks great in brown :D I have one of those too, but I think the motor burnt out, will have to dig it out for a tinker to get it running again :D

Like the tools scattered around - let's hope they're well fixed down!
