Copied verbatim from G- Scale,Central a few moments ago. Hopefully Phil will expand on the locality and local police contact number so that members of the various groups in that particular area can keep a look out locally.

Is this one? Lady Anne - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Roundhouse-Li ... 2c94d852b3

The seller also had a Taliesin and a red Essel diesel earlier today but don't appear to be listed anymore

it may well be as the locos do not include transmitters on ebay and i dont believe in coincidences

Having had a further look i am certain all of those locos are stolen, its suspicious that they are very similar to the ones stolen and not much information is provided about them, is there any way of stopping the sale?

There has to be somewhere - though I can't find it. Looking at the sellers other items he seems to deal in collectables and has a lot of feedback so would be unlikely he stole them - could have been sold to him though :?

Looks like the engines alright.
Has anyone got the contact details for the owner/local Plod?
I hope they end up back where they belong.[/b]

This is a lead worth following and the police should be informed so that investigations can take place.
It may be perfectly innocent, but if my stock was stolen and reported in this way I would be grateful for the assistance of the Forum members.

If you believe these are the stolen items then report it to ebay a.s.a.p....

On the item listing, click on "Report Item". When the new screen opens select "Listing practices" in the first box, "Stolen property" in the second box and the same in the third.

They are pretty quick about dealing with this kind of stuff.

You can't report stolen items unless you can prove you are a law enforcement official.
I have emailed ebay about these, but I hope some one can inform the owner so the wheels can be set in motion with the police.

I've sent the G Scale Society Publicity Officer a link to this topic as I assume he will be able to get the chap informed and help him do what is possible.
I'm assuming the link works of course.
It is of course possible that he is a member of this forum anyway but fingers crossed.

The listing has been cancelled "due to an error" - seems they got it. Got to feel for the seller, he was most likely sold these by the thieves and he's just lost out to them - but obviously the main person here was the loco's rightful owners, hopefully they can get them back to him :)

Does anyone know if the items were returned to the owner?
