I've had a lot of fun building a "Tiny" kit for a friend - a good deal of care and attention when cutting the edges is required to get a neat finish and reinforcing the edges helps. Its a gentle relaxing way of modelling which isn't used as much these days but, as you can see, is cheap and effective. The lining sheets also work well indeed and are a cost affective alternative to lining services.

Hello there...
I've been producing these kits for over 10 years - originally called Locolines.
I only changed my name as there are about 4-5 people calling themselves Locolines now.
The website gives all the info needed - but these kits are more than just 'card' which someone has advised.
They are high quality and pretty substantial gloss faced architects board - around 2mm thick. All full colour and with a good level of detail.
I've had numerous reviews in Garden Rail and 16mmngm magazine.
All extremely positive.
Yes, you can buy kits that are laser cut wood, resin, plastic etc - but at a far higher price.
The aim of my products is to be an inexpensive way into what can be a very expensive hobby.
Where else will you get a complete kit of a railcar for less than £40?
Above all, it's a nice, old fashioned approach, as someone rightly pointed out.
Give it a look.
Roy.
