New Garratt Model

Post by GTB » Fri Oct 03, 2014 4:45 pm

For those with deep pockets and garden railways with generous clearances......

Argyle have announced they are planning a VR G class, to be made by Accucraft.

All I know is what they've published here -

http://www.argyleloco.com.au/news.htm

These will be big models in 16mm scale, as they were a 3'6" gauge design regauged for 2'6".

For those that haven't noticed, they are also about to release their laser cut kits for some of the VR 2'6" gauge passenger stock still running on Puffing Billy.

Very nice but only coming in 2016 at the earliest. That should give me time to get a paper round to save up for one :D
