New Locos from DJB.

Post by Matt » Sun Nov 25, 2007 4:24 pm

I've just had a look on the DJB engineering website, and they're planing some interesting new engines for 2008. They now rebuild Edrigs and Wrekins to coal firing, and are now producing a new engine 'Emma' using either a Roundhouse 'Billy' or 'Lady Anne' chassis.
For fans of the 7/8 scale, their also planning to produce a coal fired 'Katie' :D . No, not the Katie Roundhouse produce. This one is based on a 0-4-0 15 inch gauge tank loco built by the famous Sir Aurthur Heywood for the Eaton Hall Railway In 1896. To view the design, go to the DJB engineering website, click on 'New Products' in the contents list, and scroll down to the bottom.

Being a fan of 15 inch gauge railways, i would buy one of these-If I had the money!
