Great photos, the sunlight looking good in those shots.

Fuschias removed it's a nicer spot now. The concrete pad was going to be a timber store but may be a brick barn. Glad I made Mrs B take a picture of that local barn....itsbeing painted black...even the bricks!
If I was Mick Jagger I would write a song...i see an old barn and I want it painted black...

The wagon and railway look good. One of my current projects is wagon building. I'm on prototype no 2 at the moment. No 1 never got finished, but I might revisit it in the future to see if I can get it to an acceptable standard.

If I had favourite spots, this might be it...
I can see why. Very bucolic - could easily be a scene on any number of ng light railways in days of yore.

Don't think I'll ever master singlehanded videos. If it could go wrong it did today. Generally grumpy as we have a 5.00 a.m. terrier. The walks in the woods are getting darker and even met a boar this morning which didn't help my non bonhomie .

Much better than the video I attempted! Nice smooth slow running. Very atmospheric.

Good looking rolling stock and loco, the line has a true narrow gauge feel.

Looks ok to me Derek. So what if itβs bit shaky, who cares. You have a brilliant line and some awesome rolling stock.

Both vdeo's are very nice, Derek. Love the slow running and general atmosphere - whats the word? Bucolic!

Some really atmospheric shots, Derek. You got the lighting just right.
I tend to stand my camera up on various things when filming - upturned buckets, rocks, garden chairs, etc. and then run the train past it. Before I bought a cheap version of the gorillapod - eg https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153063451841 - I used various offcuts of wood to adjust the angle of the camera while filming or, if you're handy with needle and thread, you could make a bean bag to go under the camera. Handheld shots are tricky, even with both hands free.

A diesel open day to celebrate 32 years of weddedness, or I had to clear the bench to make a mini wall.

I love the shed scene - a lovely building and very characterful fleet of locos...
