Swift Sixteen Bogie Open.
Just finished another of Swift Sixteen offerings.
Like the GPV it is a delight to build although not quite as straight forwards. The only problem I had is that the resin did not seem to like superglue very much.

Just another 6 or so to build for a rake.

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer!
It weighs a bit but could be filled or have lead attached underneath.
The wheels run in a bearing tube made of brass, I did file the ends clean and run a bit of wet and dry through it. After putting a bit of white grease on the axles they run great.

Superglue in a bottle, you know the real stuff. I wonder if it might go off after a few months? I was tempted yesterday on our local market with 5 tubes for a quid. At that price I could use a tube a day and not worry.
I have just had to respray it after I picked it up with greasy hands and left big marks on the paint. That will teach me to forget to varnish it. :tool:
