Spotted by chance an interesting programme on BBC 4 last night - The Golden Age of Steam Railways. Looks like its a 2 episode thing looking at real Narrow gauge railways. Just watching it on Sky+ now lots of early footage of the Tal y Llyn and Ffestiniog. Well worth a watch on I Player if you have not already seen it.

It has been on TV before and I have watched it a couple of times (including again last night). It is well worth viewing and remembering all of the volunteers who made the present day preserved railways possible.
