I keep thinking about getting one of these models for my station but as I haven't seen one yet, and don't really know the quality I'm unsure as to whether I want to dive in. Does anyone else have one they could put some photos up of?

I'm currently building their Wattlington station kit. Resin parts needed flattening out and I've made a few changes and ditched the over size roof tiles. Resin walls are nicely detailed but be warned they don't come with any guttering or down pipes.

Recently bought one of these kits from them. The parts look crisp but would still benifit from flattening a little. Will be a while until i get time to build it though.

Any further developments on these?

I am really tempted by one but I want to know that I'm spending my money well.

Would scratch building one be a better bet?

If you go down the scratch building route you can build the model to the exact specs that you want. As opposed to accepting what someone else has designed. I have built kits that I have spent more time adapting than it would have taken me to scratch build in the first place.

This is true. The complicated shape of the roof terrifies me, however.

I am thinking about scratchbuilding a goods shed from 15mm polystyrene sheeting and either finish it with textured sheet or cover it with waterproof tiling grout and then crave the finished texture........

I can't find any scale drawings for Wood Bay or Lynton, however. Well I can but in a hideously expensive book. lol.

the book isnt cheap but is worth every penny!

Still havent got the station yet. maybe one day i will actually buy it....
