Nope, the first batch hasn't sold out, my Dad's still got a couple of the first batch left unsold! I guess you ordered direct from Roundhouse?MTA:98041 wrote: I'm in the second batch due for delivery in the first quarter of next year. Guess that shows how popular they are if the first batch has already sold out!

Originally that was the plan however demand for the first batches was so high it was then changed to two batches of 50.pauly:98447 wrote:Are both batches sold out batches of 20?
If so we can expect 5 batches total right

An indication that the recession is over? I've not been in live steam long enough to experience how quick a roundhouse special goes. I regret not being around when they did Jack.....Dannypenguin:98448 wrote:Originally that was the plan however demand for the first batches was so high it was tuhen changed to two batches of 50.pauly:98447 wrote:Are both batches sold out batches of 20?

well send them an email asking for DylanJMORG:98515 wrote:If I remember correctly, Roundhouse made 100 Special Edition Jacks (and they sold out in about 2 minutes!), maybe they only originally planned 20 due to Stanley's much more limited appeal?
Hopefully they'll do a Dylan!
I wonder what Roundhouse will be announcing for the AGM...
myself and a few others last year all sent RoundHouse an email asking for a reintroduction of Stanley and look what we got
A steam propelled life-style.
Roundhouse seems like such a well-run company. My own dealings with them have been very satisfying. One thing I like about this particular hobby is all the competently-run small businesses I've had the pleasure of dealing with.pauly:98516 wrote: myself and a few others last year all sent RoundHouse an email asking for a reintroduction of Stanley and look what we got
I'm hoping to see lots of "Stanley" pictures and videos when you guys start to receive your engines. Trams are generally not my cup of tea but I've found myself enjoying them more and more recently.
Cant wait for mine..put most of the cash in a isa account so i wont be tempted to go spend it all..The cash was actually to go on more track but seeing one of the original stanleys at a meet ias soon as i got home i emailed and said i would have 1 (I really wouldnt care what colour i got 1 in as not bothered) and it will also be my first proper steam loco as well and from talking to a few people they all said I wouldnt be disapointed in 1

Yes I did order direct from Roundhouse.
I don't see the need to go to a dealer when there's no difference in the price, if I lived overseas I would probably use a dealer purely in the interests of being able to contact someone nearby in the (rare) situation of a problem arising.
