SHR Autumn Gala 2008
Hello,
Today laalratty, his father and myself had fun playing trains with his Coaches, Gwydion & Baguley, then as they left MoelygestLR turned up with his Lady Anne and I.P Jack. At the same time I ran my friend's Baldwin which is staying for the week, it looked great on laalratty's coaches.

Great video, I really wish I could of stayed into the evening but even setting off when we did, I only got home at quater to 8 (crash on the M6 at Thelwall, and subsiquent traffic). The Baguleys looked great in the woods- pitty about Isabelle's driver (pics tommorow of a rather shocking incident )
Thanks for having me, dad and mum round

"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

Well here are my pics of my visit to the SHR
Gwydion, which visited with 3 of my carriages, all based of Welsh Highland or Ffestiniog railway prototypes
The Baldwin, which belongs to one of William's friends (I belive he's a forum member but doesn't come on often)
Couldn't resist doing an imitation of the Welsh Highland in the 1920's with the Baldwin and my coaches
We finished off with running our Accucraft Baguleys, both running with the RCS control system

The sepia photo of the Baldwin is lovely.
Talking about the Baguley's, I got the screwdriver set out last night to sort the sound troubles switched it on and it had fixed itself! So instead I tweaked the engine noise and re-programmed the controller so that it goes faster and has brake release, sadly the horn is still refusing to work.

Nice pickies there as well as the vid. Shame I wasn't there but I've heard about you leaving Mum in the car for two hours!!!!
'Oliver's no use at all, thinks he's very clever. Says that he can manage us, that's the best joke ever. When he orders us about, with the greatest folly. We just push him down the well. Pop goes old Olly!'

The big one!
If you do anything make sure you watch right to the end of the credits, it's good, you'll get the joke. Photos tomorrow.

Nice vid, was funny today when SLRmidge popped round (just after I had finished fettling the ex SHR track in my quarry) and asked if something horrendous had happened to Tag Gorton , although I must admit i don't get the joke with the music (yes I know, Christopher years out of date again etc etc)
