An exercise in modelling perspective

Post by andymctractor » Mon Nov 25, 2013 9:10 am

Not Garden Railways but I think this is worth looking at by those who like a railway modelling challenge.
This is a Dutch layout named B.A. Bodil which I videoed at Warley this year.  Take a look, it is a brilliantly clever model.

Also their website
www.msgValkenswaard.nl
has an English version running and there you will find technical details of how they achieved the results on the model.

Nice. :D That's one of the best executed railway forced perspective scenes I've erm... seen. How deep was the whole thing?

About 3 maybe 4 feet. I went to Warley on Sunday. This was far and away my favourite exhibit.

Hi,
if you take a look on their website there are some views showing the size of the exhibit, but it is about as deep as it is wide which isn't very big.
