New HGLW loco !

I found this photo on HGLW/FB. Great little critter ! I need it ASAP!

With the added advantage that it fits onto the current HGLW 2W/4W drive electric chassis.

Looks better than the previous loco, I always it thought it too high, but that looks quite good.

The cab is right but the bonnets seem too small...but it's only what I think...

While I have more than enough small electrics as it is I am rather tempted by that, might be the slim resemblance to the Groudle Glen's short lived electric locos.

If you were going to go down that route, how about these?

They look too complex for me, I shudder at the thought of serious wiring and bending plywood!

That's two reasons why I build HGLW kits :
they are not very expensive and they are very easy to make.

Had a very enjoyable & informative visit to the HGLW this afternoon so managed to see this new loco body up close "in the flesh".
I like how it has been designed around the current electric chassis kit. Although some thought would be needed over wiring connectors (the power switch is mounted in the body) it does allow the possibility of changeable bodies on one chassis, thus keeping the costs down further.

if you fit a rc receiver under the chassis along with a micro esc controller you just need to fit the batterys under the bonnet on either body that way no switch or wiring on any bodys..or if you want manual control you could fit the switch on the chassis
