ANLR Autum evening steamup

Post by laalratty » Fri Oct 03, 2008 9:49 pm

Tonight i had an evening steamup at my Afonglas and Nant Llywyd railway, and I had some rather special visitors!

not just one, but 2 :D Silver Ladies from Roundhouse
The ANLR was pleased to have a return visit of Black Coombe the PTLR's Locobox Afrakarn garratt

And finally...

Record breaking engines need 2 people to carry them obviously. Here LMSjools and SLRmidge do the honours.
(Really the wagon carries the radio bits for the loco and they have to be carried together)
With thanks to all who came brought engines
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

It makes a nice change to run a meths fired loco like Tibby sometimes, except when she falls off the track & sets light to herself & melts the servo !! Benny Hill....love it!

ROFL
Mind you PTLRsam keeps trying to melt my accucraft IOMs with meths engines, even after a but in a non meltable, not owned by me barrier wagon rule.
