It all depends on whether you can get the old embed code out of YouTube. For this posting I went to your video, clicked Share, then clicked Embed and the Use old embed code option was there. Copied the old embed code & pasted it in this posting (Note: you will not see the video in Preview). In the past I've found you will not get the old embed code option if you are Logged In to YouTube.

Hi Markus,

Go to the appropriate YouTube video (Do not Log In). Select Share, Select Embed, Click Use old embed code, Copy the embed text in the box.



In your message paste the old embed code where you wish the video displayed. You will not see the video when you preview your message.

thank you but it seems that I can't use the old embedded code.
These options is not displayed by youtube.

A few pictures of my recent work for my garden railway



First I applied some accesoires on my small diesel loco and the brake van.
On the loco I placed some loco lamps of an old Faller E-Train loco, to simulate a simple headcode for goods trains on my IoS Railway.
I also put some vacuum pipes at the ends of the loco.



During the holidays I scratchbuilt a kind of Conflat wagon for Less then a car load traffic. I used a Faller E-train/Playtrain wagon chassis as base. The removable cases are also from Faller Playtrain range.







I also put a brake standart from a disused LGB wagon and glued it in my Andel Brake van which I received last summer.



And last but not least I built a flat wagon from an Andel Models kit I received yesterday, about three weeks late for my wife to present it to me for christmas.

it's been quite a while since my last post here. In the meantime I have moved two times, and got divorced. But now I've settled in my new home (house). And I'm planning on a new garden railway. More about in the near future. But today I made a christmas update about my model railway projects.

it's been quite a while since I showed some progress from my garden railway layout. In 2017 I moved houses, and had no garden for a garden railway. I planned to built one in the garden of my parents but then a divorce stopped these considerations for some time. Because of the divorce I had to move again only one and a half year later. I moved in to my parents house, and last year they transfered it to me. I did some planing between the last two house moves, but then I wanted to incooperate a pond with my layout. And my first plan was not suitable for these because of the available space. But last weekend I laid out the track an marked its position, so that I could dug out the trenches for the trackbase.

Yesterday I started digging the trenches, and if the weathers is fine I will continue today with the construction of the track base.

Markus, when I started my railway, it was not to dissimilar to yours, built on grass with trenches for the track. One piece of advice I ignored was to kill all the grass in the railway area before starting, this I have come to regret, as it is hard to remove afterwards. One piece of advice I half followed was the use of weed membrane, I did use it under the track, but you need to ensure it extends a good distance from the track.

thank you for your PM regarding embedding pictures from Flickr.
I know it's nearly a year since my last post here.
In the meantime I built the foundation for my trackbed and dug out the pond.
Then nothing happend, I was thinking about the small bridge that is needed to cross the pond.
At last I decided to built the bridge from alumium profiles, available at DIY stores.
After motivation I built the bridge today, and I hope to lay the track in the next few days.

I also decided to change the name from Isle of Skye Raiway Mk2 to The Drunkards Little Railway. These is a homage to the former railway line from Seligenstadt to Volkach, which was called "Sauferbähnle" by the locals, and which would translate into english like drunkards railway.

I can't help thinking that the trackbed for my railway could easily have been laid by a well oiled navvy
