Godd advice, but I've tried telling her the good points, and the answer that oftern comes back is "well what about the ones you've got at the moment?"

It gets really annoying.

SJ: I want Maroon, cus everyone else has a GWR green one! So it'll stand out at steam-ups and you can tell whose is whose!!!! ;)

Matt: well, tell her that the ones at the moment are not as good as the Edrig, and you need a bette loco for... (ie To haul longer trains!)
I had to persuade my mum why I was going to build a railway. I just told her, what was the point of sewing nice patterns?!!! ;)

I think i shall send it to lightline and get it line out. Maybe fit a DJB whistle. A Milton Loco Works regulator handle, coal bunker and water filler valve. And a few other detailing odds and sodds

I want to get lining from Locolines (Lightline I can't afford!), and a chuff pipe, water top up and gas gontrol dummy brake from Milton Works. Then fit R/C to the regulator if I can.
