Wow! I wonder if that is a record. Could do with a gramaphone regulator in it like the marklin 0-6-0 tank locos for a more sedate speed but it certainly is impressive.

I think it has a governor in it, but not yet perfected. Quite a system - the boiler contains seven spring assemblies in a line, each one winding the next...

Wow Indeed! That is proper engineering, the science geek in me loves the door counter on the electric drill / winder.

That is proper engineering there!!! I wonder what the performance would be if he based it of a 9f. Small wheels for slow speed and a long boiler to have lots of springs.
