Funchal 500 Tall Ships - fancy a bit of Captain Pugwash?!

Post by mhlr » Sun Sep 14, 2008 1:14 am

Having visitors means you need stuff to do. Fortunately, having a boat, we could actually bi pass all the tourists flocking to Falmouth, blocking up the roads etc, and join in with the regatta itself!!! (or a Armarda!!!) I piloted the boat most of the day, but managed to get all this while letting dad take the helm:

nice vid. I'm in the CCF Navy section, and once I got to drive a 50mph rib boat!

But thing I enjoyed most driving was an O&K steam loco at the west lancs railway :D.
