Might be getting mobile soon

Post by Hancockshire » Fri Sep 14, 2012 6:00 pm

Thought I'd mention it on here but I've found a car in my town that tickles my fancy. A Mk3 Cortina 1600 L Automatic Estate, K reg (1971) in white & has been left abandoned in an old garage. As soon as I can, I'll post pics & keep you informed of whether I get it or not. Cheers

Getting Mobile

Nice jam jar mate. Just be careful of the old ferrous oxide. Body panels and trim are scarce. Would advise joining the owners club.
Lead me not into temptation, for I can find my own way.

If you get stuck and its a rusty heap but the panels you have are good for templates, you can make new ones ;).

Cool. I'm still trying to get to the car with some chisels. My plan's to send the chassis number to the DVLA for the log book. If it has any owners, they'll look for them & if they don't reply in four weeks, car's mine. If it still has an owner, I'll track them down & make an offer if it's decent
