Buddy L G scale advise

Post by pdxor » Fri Feb 03, 2012 5:12 pm

Hey all!

I have recently inherited a Buddy L train set that includes the following: 2-piece electric engine and tender, flat car, rail car, box car, caboose, and 20 track pieces. All of these are new in the box and are dated 2004. Is this a good outdoor starter set, or should I sell it and upgrade before I even start my garden project? I'm not apposed to spending money if an upgrade is worth it, but my train knowledge is zero. :-) Any ballpark figures as to what this set might be worth if I should sell it?

Thank you for any and all advice,

PDXOR
