It is indeed Bosnian Gauge Zach, however this unique railway feature is not in Bosnia.

Bump.

When opened in 1925 this unique railway feature was within the Kingdom of the Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes.

Darn, shouldn't have let you answer! What street? Looks like it but :google: needs to update street view, this picture looks like it was taken 20 years ago!

Wayland Street?

I'll be honest, my original guess was Oconomowoc, but it's actually pretty uncommon to see that sharp of a curve looking west from a level crossing, and most level crossings in the bigger towns have full timber or composite decking. But yeah, maybe it was a bit cheating to be sort-of local. :king:

This one's either insanely easy or unnecessarily opaque and I can't tell which, but in the interest of fairness I'll gladly accept either of her names.

'Insanely easy' is giving me the (almost certainly misplaced) confidence to suggest that the lettering "A-4" could imply that it's... an A4?

If so, which one? My guess is going to be...Union of South Africa.

EDIT: Apologies to ThomasM I hadn't spotted your post which had already interpreted this potential clue in the same way... at least we've picked different A4s!

:bravo and :welcomewave

ThomasM has it! Simon, you were on the right track as well. #60008 Dwight D Eisenhower (though #4496 Golden Shuttle would have also been accepted). I've loved the A4s (especially Mallard) since I was very small and it's really special to me that there's a member of the class that I can visit in person... though Big Boy often steals the spotlight on trips with the kids!
