Traffic Pattern? What pattern? Spuds out; grain in, but cattle, sheep and passengers are a lot less predictable.

I was built for a mayor, who I once took to Chesterfield and once owned by a Ward of nearby Sheffield before I accompanied a senior officer on inspections before finally taking up more mundane M.O.D duties.

So who am I?

so I reckon the answer is all the info can be found via the "Swindon in the Past" web site. I'm just plain LAZY and can't be ***** ed to type it all in. So this is the clue you need, Bye for now and best wishes for 2013.

Regards,

Rob (Oxon UK)
P.S. if you haven't visited Swindon "Steam" you need to do tourself a favour and go SOON. :D

I'd be suprised if it does - there wasn't much call for trenches at the battle of Jutland ;)

How about "The Run To The North"?

No.

Here's a suggestion, look up the first name on the list, and look at any important events associated with that name.

They are linked by Battles.

Talavera - Battle of Talavera de la Reina 1809 & 1936.

Daniel Gooch - was an effective proponent of the 7ft gauge in the 'Battle of the Gauges'.

Jutland - Battle of Jutland 1916.
