New Swift Sixteen Corrugated Box Van.

Post by swiftsixteen » Sat Jan 14, 2012 12:55 am

Hi,

My website is undergoing an over hall, so I'm unable to upload new products right now. I thought you may like to see my newest product before it goes on sale on my website ?

More pics here.

A rake of those would go down well here I would say.. Nice.
Tommy Dodd may have an ARS key but I have a TASS button & a Rope Ladder, just like pirates, except the TASS button bit.

Hi,

Some more pics for you :D

I am having my open day tomorrow, so will take some better pics of the finished and painted wagons then. I only built and painted these two this evening, so no daylight left.

Any chance of offering it 'body only' for lineside use?

Hello,

Thank you for the fantastic response via here, PM's and Email :D

During this week I will be making a brick plinth with slab step to turn the box into a shed for line side use.

I also have a new set of arch bar bogies to offer and a new Well Wagon kit, pics below and more here

The well wagon is not yet in a rubber mould so I have had to roughly 'mock up' the masters for you to see how it will look.

Many thanks,
Rob.

All great stuff as usual Rob. I am not a big fan of plastic in this scale, however, they are very convincing so could be turned ;)

Cheers,

Tom

Hi,

The RRP is £30 all in with couplings, steel wheels etc.

"Wiggley Tin Van", That's good :D , do you mind if I call it that ?

Thanks,
Rob.

Not at all Rob, please feel free!

(I first heard the term "wriggley tin" when I was in the Army - seems that some of the guys couldn't get their tongues around "corrugated iron" )

Very nice - they look good with minimal weathering. I can see Shane building a rake of DISGUSTING looking ones!
