Photos from 2 NWAG steamups

Post by laalratty » Sat Jul 12, 2008 8:41 pm

The last 2 days (as on 12/07/08 ) have been very busy with regard to steamups. Yesterday was a service running evening at the Little Morecambe steam railway of LMSjools, whilst today was the annual 16mm running day on the Windy Ridge railroad.

After the end of service running, Gwydion and PTLRcecil's single Fairlie Guinevere double head.

During the first couple of hours of G-scale eletric running, services are held up by a bandit looking to rob the train! Any captions?

Videos from both events should be on when I have the time for movie editing, but look out for a couple of special happenings in them as well as the one I belive Bungle is planning
And after all that, this is my 500th post :D  :D

For the caption comp.

'I'm a dandy highwayman whom you're too pround to mention. I spend my cash on looking flash and grabbing your attention.'

Okay, not original, I know. But it had to be said. :D
'Oliver's no use at all, thinks he's very clever. Says that he can manage us, that's the best joke ever. When he orders us about, with the greatest folly. We just push him down the well. Pop goes old Olly!'

Thanks for the feedback on the pics :) but has anyone got a good line for what either the driver or the robber in the third picture could be saying! I'm sure somebody can come up with something better than what my sister came up with!
