FR Prince underway!

Well its been a time and finally work starts on the FR's Prince, boiler built, inspected and purchased as well as cast smokebox obtained from the AGM.

Havent an idea at the moment still researching as a number of changes occurred over the years.. Though personally I dont like the bright red livery in its form today and cant believe, that may have been its original livery, just too loud, so could be the 1960s green livery like my blanche or more of a conserved livery like Palmerstone.. what do you think. Boyd states brick red ..

My votes for the green -- they just don't look right in red.

Ate sky blue too Coventryish as well as Thomas do u have stocks of that colour I have some just done a Ruston shunter so would clash..Welsh pony when restored may well be sky blue with red and orange lining u never know

I have to say I'll always be a fan of festiniog victorian maroon, however you don't see many in green so i would be tempted with that.

I wouldnt be that stupid would I!!

The choices are green 50s/ 60s deep plum/maroon 30's /40's or the red but not the bright red as we know it today
