Schull and Skibbereen
Schull and Skibbereen
I have just been finishing a rake of S&S stock for a customer. Had some lovely crests made up by Chris Moxham. They are a little guess work between myself and a certain Mr Ramsey as no clear photos of the real things exisit. They look lovely in their matching livery.

Nice work. Lucky customer.Sir haydn:60933 wrote:They are a little guess work between myself and a certain Mr Ramsey as no clear photos of the real things exisit.
........but why have you used a crest based on the MGWR coat of arms and not the GSR crest? The colour scheme seems to be otherwise from the GSR period.

Luvverly!!! I had to get a mop and bucket to get the drool off my keyboard!
Worsley Works has been doing Irish stuff for quite a few years but mainly in 4mm and 7mm. IIRC the do some rather nice etches of Irish standard gauge stock too, including, IIRC some early CIE stuff such as the laminated stock. The Laminates were the carriages that disintegrated so badly in the Buttevant Disaster in 1980.

Traffic Pattern? What pattern? Spuds out; grain in, but cattle, sheep and passengers are a lot less predictable.
