Last night the NWAG Morecambe members all decended on the Afonglas and Nant Llywyd Railway for a bit of after dark running. Services lasted little more then an hour before we headed indoors, but in that time four locos stretched their wheels. I even managed to get a few almost good pics, so here they are

LMSjools bought along the mighty Merlin, with its big headlight it was popular for attempted night pics

SLRmidge leaving the blowdown valve open on Kittiwake was responsible for this bit of steam glow

The problem with running at night. Comings together like this are quite common for the NWAG during day running, so it was inevertable for night trains!

David William's headlight illuminates the lovely new station building at Nant Llywyd.

Is it just me that thinks that David William has a dragon emerging from in front of the headlamp?!

Finally, the SLR south's Willi slowy rounds the headland. SLR Pedro was very clever in leaving his run to the end, the track was deserted!
Many thanks to the Morecambe guys for coming, it was a good evening
