Snowploughs of the PTLR

Well its that time of year again, the snows are nearly upon us so its time to put the national network to shame and show them how railways should be run etc etc.
Nah I just fancied posting up some piccies and saying Hi because I havent been on here for ages.

I'm surprised you didn't incorporate the lights into the eyes... Or will that be Mk. 4? :lol:

Now thats what I call a snow plough! Will look great in the dark with the lights (you could probably try filming a haloween video with it, the face is scary enough :lol: ) although the gap between the rail and bottom of the plough might be a bit big. I should say i'm in possesion of the Mark 1 snow bludgeon, and should really get round to modifying it so that it will fit my locos. Last winter I had SLRmidge's snowplough for clearance duties, and rebuilt it for him so that it would actually work...

Its high up to avoid hitting the ice as that was the Mk 2s problem, and lets face it even the arthur in full cry would shift a block of ice. Now all what has to fit are the wheels.
