No, no, not crisp packets - Crisps! (in little bowls that they put out to make you more thirsty and therefore drink more ale) 8)

I bet you're going to have working oil lamps, mini beer kegs with actual beer in that can connect up to working bar pumps and everything! Will the vehicle be fitted with Bond Brakes too?

Well, if it's having that lot Pete, then it might as well have working air con that fails all the time, tannoy system to annoy the passengers and proper brakes that are up to proper scratch with a reservoir system with the 3 phase braking system with the loco that powers the train create the air pressure needed to remove the brakes off with a main reservoir with 10 bar of pressure in and also plumb it up so that it still goes via the proper brake method of that if a loss of air occours in the carriages, the locomotive won't lose air pressure due to the one way valve within the braking system, and also a generator is needed to maintain the 10-8 bar pressure :D

Now, has anyone seen my coat?

Hmm, I wasn't going to put Bond Brakes on this one as its not an "express vehicle" but maybe...

Anyway!
Did some work on the brasses today, made the:
Hinges for the doors
Image
Door Handles/latching mechanism
Image
And the hooks for the leather straps for the drop light windows
Image
All these components will be soldered up and fitted in place tomorrow
But here's what one side complete with glazing and brass works might look like...

Erm. If the speed of your trains are classed as 'express', I hate to think what the speed of the non-express trains are... the reason they don't need brakes is because they aren't even moving in the first place!
