TrackShack - Worth Dealing With!

In the last week I've had 3 dealings with TrackShack, First for a large order of track, then for a goddal valve and oiling cans, then today, after sending john an e-mail yesturday, he informed me he'd spoken to Accy about getting some new eccentrics for my edrig (As its worn on one side). Each time, he has replied the next day too e-mail, sent items when he said he would, gave as much advice as he could, and generally been a good company to deal with!

I agree.

I bought all my first 16mm stuff including loco from John and he is a good chap.

I had my first order of track and sometime later a Loco. His quick response and delivery got my order, where as another big retailer didn't bother replying to my emails. I don't feel I have to chase a company to spend my hard earned cash with. I'd go back to Trackshack...

I agree - I've bought rolling stock, steam locos and track from Trackshack and had excellent service....

Trackshack and Garden Railway Centres, Cheltenham both give excellent, lightning, service!

The parcel arrives almost before you've turned the computer off!

Just to add to the Recommended Retailers, I'd advise go to PPS Steam. I ordered a ton of kit for my project and it arrived the ery next day like greased lightning!

Like so many Isle of Man outfits Trackshack is super to deal with and customer service means "customer service" not "fobbing off the peasants." A couple of times I have order stuff from them and had it delivered to my relatives in the UK, and it has been forwarded to me in one of the family's periodic 'care packages.'

I have listened fairly closely to what is said on the forums about the various suppliers and retailers, and as a result I have yet to do business with a 'wrong 'un.' Of course there are a few out there, but they will receive 'dishonourable mention' on here if they are really awful/unreliable.

Of course, even good suppliers and retailers have the odd bad day, but when the good guys' make a mistake will usually be corrected with a handsome apology.
