A visit to the Colwyn Garden Railway

Once again I paid a visit to the Colwyn Garden Railway nearby school with Pheonix, anyhow, here are the pics from a brilliant afternoon:

Hauling a mixed train up a steep incline! (even though it's not that noticeable in the picture)
Smoking out the viaduct!
and smoking out everywhere else!
Running up the incline towards the tunnel
The inside of his shed, and yes, he does have a 5" gauge line as well!
The clag left in the tunnel after the train went through!
On shed again later on, this time with the railways resident loco:
The last ever Samson made by cheddar!
and I have to say this loco did impress me very much! It went for 50 mins and the gas tank wasn't even full! and it was it's first run in over 9 months!

Later on Pheonix ran out of gas, so the Samson shunted it out the way!
A very enjoyable afternoon was had, and many thanks to the hosts!
