There has been a long and silent hiatus to this project due to other more important project and general business with work load.
Since starting I have found out this loco is a Jim Wild Dewinton and did have a single pot meths burner it in. It is also documented that they never ran very well with the single single acting ossy, so..... I purchased a brand new Binnie oz motor from robert binnie and fitted it, this ment outing the old geared fly wheel arrangment under the water tank. I must say the running is very much improved! The parts for the new boiler are now cut (the old one has no cross stays in the flue and wastes alot of the heat) and gas with a ceramic burner will be used as apposed to the meths set up it would have had.
