A quick question ;)

I know alot of you live out of Cornwall (and thats cool) but does anyone model china clay in the garden railway world?

Cheers

I have a vague memory of an ancient SMT where a bloke built a trio of bogie wagons (painted deep blue) and then weathered them to look as if they were servicing a plaster of paris mine!

I had a rake of Pentewan china clay wagons that I scratch built, I sold them a number of years ago now though

*blows 6 years worth of dust off thread*
I like china clay as an industry for my line, having bought five very nice clay wagons from James from Devon on here, the pentewan railway is also intriguing as a modelling prospect! :D

Be interested to see a pic of one of them - I could add a clay or sand industry to my line quite easily

Cheers

Whilst I get used to posting pictures on the new forum format, I refer you to the last photo in this thread

They are very nice wagons and I must see about building some more to the same pattern :D

Likewise, I wouldn't mind seeing a piccie or two of that rake, as you can see from my profile picture, I have a great fondness for that line
